Well since you’re here I might as well entertain you.

Who ARE you?

I’m a marketing person in the United States. I’m staying anonymous because haha have you seen the job market lately? No thank you. If this thing takes off I may reveal myself, but tastefully.

So, marketing?

Right, I’m mainly self-taught. I’m a tech nerd at heart. I started…really started, I guess, in the 90s with HTML and Javascript building my own websites and tinkering with coding and all that.

One of my very first jobs was using MS Frontpage in 1996 to build a custom ecom store that was the first of its kind in my city, probably state. I miss that job.

Then CSS, photoshop, etc. Turns out those skills are insanely valuable if you want to sell things on the internet, and it turns out a LOT of people need help doing that.

Many very long stories short, I started learning marketing on my own in 2009 and soon turned that into a full-time gig. I ran my own agency for a while, and another set of long stories short, I’m now employed in the marketing field at a manager level. 14+ years of marketing experience, 18+ years of tech tinkering.

I still don’t know regex, lol. But I have delivered thousands of leads for clients, executed marketing campaigns from the US to AUS, and taken brands from nothing to profit with my marketing chops.
